Synopsis for Kase-san and Morning Glories:

Yamada may be shy and rather clumsy, but the flower gardens at her school have always brought her happiness. Suddenly, a different sort of beauty catches her eye—the vivacious track star, Kase-san. Although the two girls don't seem to have much in common, they soon start a romance where each must learn an important lesson in tending their budding relationship. Can the two girls, so different from each other, learn how to make their first love blossom?

Detailed description of the couple (likely to contain spoilers)The movie follows Yamada and Kase going on dates together, awkwardly navigating their feelings. Told mostly from Yamada's perspective, with a friend of hers finding out about the relationship and supporting her through it. Towards the end of the movie, Kase and Yamada begin to study for different colleges. Yamada grows more and more anxious about this, that she might never see Kase again. In the final scene, at the last moment, she dashes onto the train Kase is on, going off to college with her. The post credits scene depicts them discussing the meaning of flowers while on the train together.
