Short description of the couple

Both Emily and Naomi are secondary school students, part of the 2nd generation, which we get to know in the 3rd season of the show. At the start, Emily's twin sister believes that Naomi made advances towards Emily. She picks on Naomi because of this; she denies having done it but does not seem to care that much. Emily seems uncomfortable with the situation. The true story of what happened is revealed to the audience quite early, and the two start connecting.
