Detailed description of the couple (likely to contain spoilers)Both women are very guarded and lonely before meeting. Dom is investigating the hack in which Darlene participated in, and learns a lot about Darlene that way (saying "I am her" at some point). At first, when they meet, Darlene decides to help the FBI, and the two work together. Later, Darlene changes strategy, and hooks up with Dom at least in part to steal her badge. Dom catches her in the act, however, and is immensely hurt. They don't speak for months. Later Dom gets blackmailed by a really dark hacker group, who asks her to kill Darlene. A lot of dramatic and dark things happen then, but their choices also show how much they care for each other. Its ends with them missing each other on an airport (one of them gets on the plane they were supposed to take together, the other stays put), but the tone of the scene is that they're healing, and they care for each other. In that sense, it's a sort of open end, where one suspects they might get together later.
